Privacy

The short version

Everything you type into a calculator on this site stays on your device. There is no account, no login, and no database of your dog. The pages are static files served from a CDN. The only things that leave your browser are the page requests themselves, a cookieless page-view count, and an email address if you deliberately choose to submit the signup form.

Calculator inputs

Weights, ages, amounts and every other value you enter are processed by JavaScript running in your own browser. They are never sent to a server, because the calculators do not talk to one. Closing the tab discards them.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and does not use browser storage to track you across visits. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp, and uses it to serve pages, mitigate abuse and protect against attacks. We do not combine that data with anything else, and we do not use it to identify individuals.

Analytics

This build ships no analytics at all. If cookie-free aggregate analytics are switched on, this page describes exactly what they collect before they go live.

Email list

This build has no signup form and no mailing list. If one is added, this page will describe where the address goes and what it is used for before it goes live.

Third parties

The site loads no third-party fonts and no advertising or tracking scripts.

If affiliate links are added to any page, they will be disclosed in line with our affiliate disclosure, and clicking one will take you to that retailer, whose own privacy policy then applies.

Children

This site is intended for adults responsible for a dog and does not knowingly collect information from children.
